This pattern is available to active Cashmerette Club members only. This is the PDF pattern for September 2023.

Sew a vintage-style topper with the Catskills Jacket! The bias-cut Catskills is inspired by the groundbreaking creations of fashion designer Claire McCardell in the late 1940s. Featuring French darts and grown-on sleeves, the Catskills is unlined and cut on the bias for a deliciously drapey layering piece that was revolutionary in its day.

Choose between full length, bracelet length, or short elasticated sleeves and close it off with your choice of 5 buttons with thread loops or 8 hooks and eyes. Dress up your Catskills in a special silk or dress it down in a casual cotton for a timeless look that never goes out of style.

The Catskills Jacket is a Cashmerette Club x Julie Eilber collaboration.

This Cashmerette pattern includes:

    • Cup sizes from C to H
    • A which will tell you exactly which size to make
    • A that you can watch anytime
    • A beautifully illustrated and detailed instruction booklet, to guide you no matter your sewing level
